2. Core Principle
IP Beacon V3.5 processes all data exclusively on the client side in your browser. We do not store any data on our servers. We do not log, track, or retain any personal information whatsoever. Your privacy is our top priority.

3. Data We Process
The following data is processed exclusively in your browser:
Your public IP address (IPv4 and IPv6)
Browser information (user agent, language, screen resolution)
Device information (operating system, hardware specifications)
Network performance data (DNS lookup times, connection speed)
Browser fingerprint (canvas, plugins, fonts)
WebRTC information (for leak detection purposes)

4. External Services We Use
To provide our services, we rely on the following external APIs. Your IP address is automatically transmitted to these services when you use this tool:

4.1 IP Address Detection
ipify.org for IPv4 detection
Purpose: Identifies your public IPv4 address
Privacy Policy: https://www.ipify.org/
Data Transmission: Your IP address is sent automatically

api64.ipify.org for IPv6 detection
Purpose: Identifies your public IPv6 address
Privacy Policy: https://www.ipify.org/
Data Transmission: Your IP address is sent automatically

4.2 Geolocation Services
ipapi.co provides geolocation data
Purpose: Determines your country, region, city, and ISP based on your IP address
Privacy Policy: https://ipapi.co/privacy/
Data Transmission: Your IPv4 address is used for geolocation lookup
Legal Basis: Legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f)

4.3 Network Analysis
Cloudflare CDN (www.cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace)
Purpose: VPN and proxy detection, network performance measurement
Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Data Transmission: Your IP address for trace queries

Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple (DNS testing)
Purpose: DNS lookup time measurement (favicon requests only)
Data Transmission: Minimal requests to public servers
Note: These services may log your IP address according to their own policies

4.4 Content Delivery Networks
unpkg.com for Lucide Icons
Purpose: Delivers icon graphics for the user interface

Data Transmission: Your IP address when loading icons

cdnjs.cloudflare.com for jsPDF Library
Purpose: Enables PDF export functionality

5. What We Do NOT Store
This is important: We store absolutely none of the data mentioned above on our own servers.
No server logs
No database entries
No cookie storage
No local storage usage
No session tracking

All analysis happens in real time in your browser. When you close this page, all data is permanently deleted.

6. WebRTC and Browser Fingerprinting
We use browser APIs for local analysis only:
WebRTC API: Detects IP leaks locally in your browser
Canvas API: Identifies browser fingerprint locally in your browser
Navigator API: Retrieves device information locally in your browser

These APIs work exclusively in your browser. No data is transmitted to us or anyone else.

7. PDF Export
The PDF export feature works completely client side using the jsPDF library. Your data never leaves your browser. PDFs are generated locally and downloaded directly to your device.

8. Cookies and Tracking
IP Beacon V3.5 does not use any cookies whatsoever.
No first party cookies
No third party cookies
No tracking cookies
No Google Analytics
No Facebook Pixel
No advertising trackers

We respect your privacy completely. What you see is what you get.

9. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR Articles 15 through 21)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

5. Accuracy of Analysis Results
The analysis results provided by IP Beacon (including IP addresses, geolocation, network data, privacy score, and other metrics) are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the displayed data. These results should not be used as the sole basis for security related decisions.

6. Not Professional Advice
IP Beacon is an analysis tool and does not replace professional IT security consulting. For security related questions, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified IT security expert.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent legally permissible, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are only liable for violation of essential contractual obligations. Liability for indirect damages, consequential damages, and lost profits is excluded.

8. Copyright
The content and works created by IP Beacon are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, editing, distribution, and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator.
